This may need to be in a different part of the Forum, but I have a 2003 Honda CR 250R (yes a two-stroke) and I can't find the proper tranny oil capacity anywhere.  You guys know where I could find this info? There is no marking on the case and of course I have no tech manual.  Any help?  Thanks.

Usually about 3/4 of a quart, but there is a small oil plug just in front of the clutch cover, remove that and fill it up until it runs out that hole.

I couldn't find it anywhere on the engine.  I thought that was strange too.  I put 850 in it, but I haven't run it much up to this point. (850 is what I put in the old RM-250) The Honda splooge hole is going to be the ticket until I get a book on the thing.

Jim, BMS has a bunch of used factory service manuals.  I found one for mine...think it was about $25.  It would be worth checking to see if the have one for yours.  Even if it was for one of the newer CR250s it should still be fine as I think they are pretty much the same bike 2003-2007 (check first though!).
