i like the transponders. only used them at the regionals last year, but it was cool to to see how you are doing and also how your compitition is doing.

NESC is going to have them next.They cost $100 for 3 years of uses, I think that great for scoring and lots more thinks to lap times and you came see other rides times too.

I'm sure its just a matter of time before all tracks use transponders.  From what I understand, each track has some expenses associated with them over and above what a racer pays for rental/ownership of each transmitter.

It is a help when the leaders start lapping people and easier to keep track of the top 5 (when viewed on a leader board like winchester speed park has).
