What did every think of last sundays race order. i thought it went well. although i didnt like standing around for 2 and 1/2 hours after the riders meeting, i think things went great after that. what did the youngins think about it. would it be cool sometime to have all the 50 and 65 race at the mid point and give everyone else a 2 hour break to go eat or relax between motos??? maybe even freshing up the track if needed??? just throwing out some thoughts. overall i liked the way they did it.. just wasnt used to it

At the NESC race at Hemonds they had the parents flag the little guy races on the old track so the big bike could start they're day too. That was great.

Keep two wheels down.

WE DID NOT LIKE THE RACE ORDER! TO JUST GET THE 50'S AND 65'S OUT OF THE WAY LIKE THAT  IS NOT RIGHT. THE KIDS HAD NO BREAK AND NO TIME TO WORK ON THE BIKES. I AM PRETTY SURE WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES THAT THINK THIS WAY. JUST MY TWO CENTS!!

We have to agree, I go to watch the little guys, but things get rushed to the point where you have to run, I think you should have a break between there first and second races, maybe have their first race, practice the big guys then have their second race?

I thought it worked out fine, but I understand the other riders concerns. The only suggestion I could make would be to run the 50/65 practice and 1st moto's, then let the big bikes get in their practice. After the big bike practice was done, the 50/65's run their 2nd moto. The upside to this would be that the mini parents would have time to fix issues with the little bikes between moto's, the kids would get a break and the big bikes would have time to fix bike issues after they practice, but before they race.

The down side is the exact reason that they ran it the way they did. It takes time to move the scorers, flaggers and medical crew between the tracks no matter how you cut it. The way they ran it, should make for a shorter day for all.

The big bikes may not have liked waiting 2 hours to get on the track after the riders meeting, but when they run the 50/65's at the end of the first moto and at the beginning of the 2nd moto, there is more than a 2 hour wait for these 5-11 years olds from the time they practice until they race.

Anyway, I thought it worked out fine.

If we could get 10 or so parents to really commit to flagging the small track we could give the kids a break while the big bikes practice and do their 2nd moto after because we wouldn't have to move any staff that way which would still save time.

At HMXP our best is the least we can do.
