| Crap I paid $1200 for my brand new 1979 YZ-125 (in "79"). I wish I could pay $1000 these days. And yes the Lisbon Track has to be the oldest. That was the first track/race I ever went to, and Jimmy Ellis was there. I still have old pictures somewhere of that day. That was the beginning of my not so illustrious MX career.
Also thanks for serving fact5. Thanks to the US Army I was able to see a Motocross "des" Nations in Germany. That was a blast.

| I recall some NESC affectionatto telling me back in 1982 that the old Pepperal, MA track (which was great) was the 1st track US motocross was raced on. The europeans used to come over to bang bars. I do not know if this is true, but if anyone nows for sure whether yes or no would be great.

| That's right about Lisbon. That was the first track/race I ever went to. That's what started my illustrious motocross career, and yes Jimmy Ellis was there. I think I have a photo of him somewhere.
Thanks for serving Fact5. I was actually able to see a Motocross "des" Nations in Germany while in the Army.
Bull Run tomorrow, and the last time I raced there I was on a CR-500. Yipes.
