Thanks guys. It really meant a lot to get the cards, messages, phone calls, and visits from the MX crew. the daily phone calls with Stewy were nice to look forward to with the NEMXS updates. Nice to See Dave Arrata on Thursday. Cathy Case printed up a poster of me shooting pics at Hemond's for my hospital room, made me laugh (hurt my incision but it was worth it!). The Fleurys and all of KMF Racing for visiting/flowers and a card. Messages from Shawn, Aaron, Tyler, Danny's PowerSports, Kevin/"Fast" Matt Freeman, and Brent Haskell... I'm missing a ton of people, but I was on morphine most of the time so I was a "little" foggy" as to what was happening sometimes (I know, what's new!). thanks everyone...

The emergency surgery went well, but the recovery did not. I should have gone home on Monday, but by then, I was not eating or drinking, had tubes up almost every opening, and was fully drugged up.

I'll be out of work from my day job for at least 4 to 6 weeks, and a little longer away from shooting MX. I'll go to a race to see everyone before then to say hi and cheer everyone one.

Good luck at Valley tomorrow

Russ

Get well soon RC:

2 thing: first you always feel better FASTER at home than in a hospital and
second: never take the doc's word that you'll be out 4 to 6 wks. they'll always give you the longest time, I'll bet I see you in two weeks at most. Speaking from many surgeries myself, unfortunately. See ya soon, Kevin
