| If you looked at a dyno chart the peak hp numbers might be similar, but at different rpm's. The pinger would have a chart that looks like a steep mountain - a sharp rise from idle to the peak and then a sharp drop. The thumper would have more power everywhere especially at lower rpms and would fall off after the peak, but not as sharp. The torque charts would be completely different. In short, the thumper would have way more torque everywhere!
Dude, you seem like you're having serious buyers remorse. I wish you didn't! Here's the bottom line...the 2-stroke might be more fun and is a little lighter, but the 4-stroke will wax it everywhere but the scale.
To answer your question, obviously I prefer the 4-stroke. |

| | FMX, you need to ride both bikes and decide for yourself. Everyone has different opinions and tastes. At this level the better rider is going to win on either bike. |

| 2-stroke!!! hahahaha Keith is right. its really personal prefferance. not only is power in question... it should be maintance too. i just priced out a top end kit of my new bike... 150 with gaskets and all. not too bad for a top end rebuild.
