i took a pretty good spill at valley and bruised a couple of ribs, i was still a little sore and decided to skip the race,with two off weekends it will give me about a month to heal.i could have raced but i wouldn't have been 100% and didn't want to risk more injury.it actually was kind of nice to just be there with our boy and help him, and watch some of the races.i thought about just riding around for points,but didn't.it will tighten up the points now and make it interesting.

Shawn, That's what I figured...sigh...my opinion is we paid and showed up to do two motos, not our fault that we could not get the second in...I mean, what would we do if for some reason we couldn't fit the second moto in due to a daylight issue? I think that is why NESC has this stipulation in their rule book.

Pat, of course I wont those extra 14 points on you my friend! ;) I'm not sure why you didn't race on Sunday but those are the opportunities that those of us just outside the "jacket club" look forward to! I bet you I know a few racers who would love nothing more than to see about 3 or 4 ppl not show for the last 2 motos.

Why didn't you ride Sunday?

i called and asked.. its stays as it is. i think you are correct derek, but the only thing i can see is that who's to say where i'd come in the second "un-raced" moto. its a tough call.. i think they are both good ways.. just dont know whats right or fair. i'd like to get more points on 479... and others that didnt show... but i didnt race that moto, so should i get points for a race i didnt do? i just wish it had stopped raining. the track was mint and the day was flying by!!! DAMN YOU MOTHER NATURE!!!:D

although this sounds like a completely fair and reasonable way to do it,due to the fact that i didn't race you would be right on me in points,so i have to vote no!!!JK:P:)

yeah Pat... we got rained out. it started raining around 1 ish i think and didnt stop. we left around 3:30.

i would love to see the pros here.i used to go to budds creek for years,nothing like the pros!hey shawn you must have gotten rained out last weekend,i only saw results for one moto for a bunch of classes.

hahaha same here Pat.. i was timing myself last thursday... i was roughly dong a 2:48 lap time. and that was practice and i wasnt pushing (not that i do doing a race either:P) so i bet its gunna b close to 3 min. the good thing is... when the track has a longer lap time... you might get the ama pro's up here :D

So now we take a 180 left to the jump, but the new section will go straight thru and then turn and come back to the jump. Mike told me to post that if the weather works in his favor... the new section will be open for the classic. they have alot of work to do this week, so dont get mad at mike if it isnt done:P
