In my one and only race (two classes) I got...last (stalled, wouldn't restart), DNF, DNF, DNS. Yeah, I loved Valley. I think I was in 5th in the first race before I slid out in a corner and stalled. Things just went downhill from there.

But I'm going back for sure!!! Maybe I'll fare better with the new layout...

RE: Reviving Valley

maybe that will release me from my dreaded curse, I like the track but never finish better than third, and have had my worst crashes there...

RE: Reviving Valley
Pat P Diddy (2/21/2007)
Cool, thanks for the skinny on how they will run it backwards... definitely sounds interesting...
yes it does.. i hope it turns out well but Phill has told me it will be better. i really REALLY liked valley before!!

RE: Reviving Valley

Cool, thanks for the skinny on how they will run it backwards... definitely sounds interesting...

RE: Reviving Valley
yamahamx684 (2/19/2007)
That would be cool, i love racing both days wen i got the $$$
i like the idea of when we (mms) are racing on a sat at valley that they have a sunday race too. but our(mms) race on sun and a valley race on sat worries me... im the type to break a cable or lever on sat and miss my points on sunday. but you really cant complain about a 2 day event at valley :D:smooooth:

RE: Reviving Valley

That would be cool, i love racing both days wen i got the $$$

RE: Reviving Valley

Backwards = cool.

RE: Reviving Valley
mx720 (2/18/2007)
This is what i hear about valley, now don't quote me on this but they are having their own series? aswell as hosting the Maine Motocross Series? There would be very little time. I wonder how they will solve that.
as i was told... the first turn will be the same... you will leave the gate, go straight, turn left(first turn holeshot),go up the little hill and turn right.. not turn 180 like we used to. it would loop around the EMT tent and start the backwards track. i am VERY distrott abotu this. i think, in my opinion, valley was great the way is was. but i was told and rea-sured that it will be better then it was.. if you can imagine that :P

RE: Reviving Valley

valley is my favorite track, i think its gunna be interesting backwords hope its as sick as before

RE: Reviving Valley

I don't see how you can run it backwards because as soon as you would come out of the sand section you would have to cross in front of the start gate and if anybody crashed on the start you would have to restart the race.
