Drop the gate, run the stopwatch at the scoring tower, when it reaches 10 minutes wave the board with the number 2 on it, then the white flag then its over. Everyone gets the same track time, the classes that run slower laps run fewer laps but they still get the same time on the track as another class.

This wouldn't apply to 50 and 65 riders, another time/# of laps might be more appropriate due to the track being shortened.
Kevin

RE: Your Lap times

I got a few lap times last Saturday...granted only one lap each so it is not an average.
Top 250 "B" rider = 2.04

the 250 "B" group following not too far behind = 2.10-2.15

Top 125 "C" rider = 2.18

RE: Your Lap times

when i went down tuesday night I had my friend do my lap times and my fastest one was a 2:43... pretty good for the first time on the track this year...

RE: Your Lap times

I was down last Thursday and I timed a Quad and I believe the rider is a B class rider and time was 2:34. This may be bike, issues, crash reasons.
Time Factor ????????= if every class has a rider who is 2:30 sec behind the leader.
22 classes 44 moto's = 88 min delay.

All these things add up. Any suggestion's let me know

RE: Your Lap times

sounds like someones looking into which classes should get what laps?? good idea!! i dont time myself... but from the helmet cam... and in practice, it was about 2:40 for one lap.

Your Lap times

If you keep track of lap times for yourself or others.
