Went down to track about a third is left with snow, a little muddy but not too bad. Hopefully we'll be down there soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day folks,

Just to let all know I am going to be doing things a bit diffrent fo my website. If you want to be able view your Motocross photos you will have to create an acount to do so. You will also have to email me so I can send you a password. To all of my good customers I will continue to print and and send photos as quick as possible, and I really appreciate your business.

You can thank all of the people that continue to steal pictures from me for this change. I love handing photos to parents and seeing their smiles, but I don't love finding pics on myspace, facebook, and ect. that I have worked hard to capture and then never make a dime. It costs me alot of time and Money to do this. and seing my work stolen and not even get recognition for it, really frosts my cookie.

Crash at Skowhegan today

Thanks to everyone who helped load us up after the crash today. Jake broke his humurus arm ball in the socket. They are not sure if it is dislocated because they said the ball broke into several pieces. If it is out of the socket or parts of it out then they can not put it back in because it is busted. The CT Scan was sent to the surgeon and we go back in the morning to meet with him. Maybe surgery, maybe not. He has a good shiner and a quite a few bruises. He's on some heavy pain killers and just fell asleep. Again, thanks to the track medics and all the help from the 50 parents. See you guys at the track. Shane & Jake Varney #29

To those of you that feel you need to steal...

I started taking pictures last weekend as a convienience to all. In between motos and watching my 2 year old I spent all day doing my best to get good shots of everyone, as there is no one else taking photos. I am not doing this to make money and am selling the photos dirt cheap as a convienience to you. upon multipul occasions, I have seen about 60 or 70 of my photos on the net on various websites like facebook myspace and ect... If you right click on a photo and it is protected, it is because the person that took that photo doesnt want you stealing it. This goes for all of the track photographers that are taking pictures, they spend alot of time trying to get good shots of you and that is how you reward them? Well you can bet your *** if you are one of the people I caught posting pics, I will no longer be doing my best to take pics of you, until I see some kind of payment or apology. And to everyone else, you can thank those people for ruining it for you, cause I would much rather be hanging out with my family then (standing in the sun all day while I should be getting rested for my moto), taking pics of you. So much for me trying to be a nice person, I thought I would snap some shots for other people, cause I miss having shots taken of me. If nothing else you could have asked, I proabably would have been happy to send you a copy via email, that didnt look like **** cause you blew a thumbnail up.

To all of you that would like me to take pics still, let me know, cause I will make sure and get some of you..if you dont let me know, then I will no longer be wasting my time shooting you. Sorry everyone had to ruin it for those of you who are honest people. Im not looking to make money here, but it would be nice to get a couple of bucks for my time.

It's official! S&S Racing is proud to present motocross racing at the Skowhegan Sportsmens Club. Myself Geoff Soule and Randy Simpson will be putting on the races this year. We plan on making a lot of track changes and sprousing the place up a bit. We plan on having practice at least once a week. 1st off, Rippin Racing Inc. did NOT give out, sell or offer your email info. or any other info. to Mr. Soule or Mr. Simpson. I do not know how they got any info. you will need to ask them.

I had 4 people contact me yesterday upset. I am sorry you were upset, but we did NOT give out any info. on anyone to anyone. I do understand you being upset as they have not operated a mx track, so would not have this info. by your permission. I can only say if you do not want to be contacted by them, you will need to tell them. I can not fix this for you. I am just letting anyone else know, WE DID NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO.

More news to the mx world family

I found out today Charlie Hodgdon rider # 336, his dad(Chuck) has been battling Cancer for a while now. One of the wonderful ladies.. Ann who worked skowhegan's concession trailer, making all the yummy food, is Charlie's mom. Today all the family was gathering at their home for Chuck's outcome is not well. Keep them in your prayers to make the passing smooth and as painless as possible for chuck and his family. The family has been thru so much.

Chuck never missed a race of Charlie's until he got so ill. He was able to make it out of the house a few times this year to attend charlie's races. He was a very proud dad to see his son race. It wasnt about a 1st place win to chuck, it was the smile on Charlies face. He was a winner no matter what.

I have known this family since charlie started racing. IT really hits home when family and friends must struggle thru life changes, even if at times they are for the better. No one should suffer with such an illness.

I will keep you posted as more details are planned,

I just got off the phone with Connie( girlfriend of matts), Matt Nightingale # 914 in the 125 & 250 B class, his father, Mark passed away unexpectedly Monday morning. Mark also did his share of racing in the vet class. Mark was most proud of Matt, he never missed a race. He was always smiling, laughing and loving the mx sport. He always had on sunglasses, holding a cold one, smiling from ear to ear. He was in heaven at the track. What a great guy, we were blessed by Mark to have his mx support. Our thoughts go out to the Nightingale family !

He will be sadly missed by all, but never forgotten !

I will keep you up dated with any details. I know Connie will read the post on here, so keep matt in your thoughts.......
