| | My new mo-chine needs tires. I had D756s on my 250F last year. They were ok in most situations but washed out easy on hardpack. Was thinking of the D952s instead or maybe the Starcross intermediates. What's everyone using and are you happy with your choice? Thanx... |

| | Hey Jack! Yeah, those were the Starcross tires I was looking at. I've heard others say they liked them too. I'll give them a try! Jim Berry said you sold your YZF, huh? What did you get to replace it? Did McKechnie buy that '05 YZ250? I sent him all the info on it! |

| | Thanx Shawn! Will definitely be trying MH3 front and rear OR the D952s front and rear if the price is better. Looked at the M401/M402 also, but can't find any reviews on them. |

| | The MS3 is an awesome tire. I always just kind of used whatever the guy at the track was selling, with a preference for Dunlops. Since I've been using the MS3's the only time I've tried anything else was because Dave at Optimum was selling D756RR's for the same price as everything else ($75 instead of the $150 they retail for). |

| Hmmm...so you guys are running the soft/intermediate treads (MS3 & D756)? I dunno. The main track I ride in Orrington is really hardpacked most of the time. The other one in Carmel has more loam & gravel, but still has some hard sections. The only place I've ridden where I thought the D756s were ok was Valley, but even there they were pushing the corners and sucked in the sandy sections, especially the uphill...did nothing but spin all the way up. I'll see what Herb recommends. He IS the guru... |
