| Hey All,
For a long time I have been considering the possibility of starting a large grassroots race team for both trail and MX racers and it looks like 2007 will be the year.We wouldNOT be competing with either your existing sponsors, teams or clubs but rather to bring some continuity to the weekends events, giving racers a common place to go, get assistance (both mechanical or in the case of Enduro and HS racing, computer setup, timing tips, etc), cold water, air,and most importantly the possibility ofwinning back your entry fee. We will be offering programs for ALL racers from the youngest kids to the oldest vets, in all classes, to submit their results for cash reimbursement, based on results, once per month.
We will be offering soft goods for sale (jerseys, T's, hoodies, etc) to help support the team which will be based out oflarge RV's with limited shop set ups. We hope to make it to as many events as possiblebutthere are some conflicts so we will set our schedule and stick with it. We are NOT going to be a rolling retail store. Any parts or items that are for sale will be for team riders only and are NOT in conflict with any promoters or Dealer/retail shops. Hopefully we will recieve the support of the racers, the moderators of the discussion boards, the regional Rider Groups and Dealers and all work together to help this grow.
Cost of membership is not yet final but $100 per year is a good guess and will be easily recovered by entry fee reimbursement and discounts/freebies from our sponsors.
Details on different Sponsorship Levels, schedule, Team sponsors, etcare being finalized now and will be available at our website www.wearewho.comand www.whorides.com in March.
Team Who? will also offer non-racers many benefits and we will also be VERY supportive of Kids existing programsas well as helping implement new ones.Giveus your thoughts, good and bad...
