I'm undecided but im late getting my papers in for either.. but i'm leaning more towards NESC because there seems to be less and less people racing the maine series.. due to a couple things... let me know what you guys are racing... can't wait to ride

& shawny... you'll have to come rip it up with the 04444 gang if your ever up near bangor this spring/summer

hmmmm someone wrote this knowing that i would read it... i'm shocked!!!  Roscoe peecoe.... where ya been. if you dont mind me asking.... what are the things that are making you lean towards nesc. if the MMS hears about it.. then maybe things could change for the better. but where else can you stay in the state... and race on 5 different tracks. if you think about the gas it will cost you to goto mass, conn, upper nh, and what not. i think the MMS is ALOT cheaper to run. and with rumors going around of over 4 dollars a gallon.... i dont wanna drive alot this summer. coming from the bangor area.... i'd say you dont either. either way .. get on your bike and ride. you were in the lead at 207 last year and thats without racing for a while. i'd love to come up and hang around the 04444 gang. i here there are many tracks and pits to hit. someday i might... but with the practice track i helped built last year.. and rumors of a new on being built already... on 15 acers. i'm not sure im gunna be traving to ride... if you dont wanna post anything that you feel is "bad" about the MMS .... send it to me in an email... You make a good point about cost.  However what you have to also think about if you're a top 5 rider is contingency monies and both NESC and NEMX have it.  I do cost/benefit every year and to do NESC spring series would cost me $2243 for gas, entry fees and gate fees for 2 classes vs just $860 on the MMS.  But then I have to weigh in that there are thousands available in contingency... $2250 x 2 classes if I had a Kawasaki but the hours spent on the road are also a factor to be considered.  Time is worth something also.

Roscoe, what are the things you don't like about the mms aside from the contingency.  We would definately consider what you say.  I know contingency is an issue, I have applied to the top 4 manufacturers and Suzuki seems to be the only one willing to jump on board.  I wish I could change this.  If any one has any pull with the manufactureres please put it to good use

Thanks, Serae

At HMXP our best is the least we can do.

yeahh i wish mms had kawasaki contingency.. that's the only thing i regret about this year. i bought a new kxf for the contingency and i am basically paying for the whole racing thing outta my pocket this year so i cant travel far so it's mms for me.

No shawn.. i'm not sleepin haha.. i'm not bashin the maine series.. just wondering who's running what.. i mean both series have good things... i mean with NESC there's the fact that they offer more contingency.. but the MMS tracks are closer and cost less to travel to.. it just seems to me that less people have been at the MMS events... i remember that in 05 the MMS was more laid back and fun.. it might of been cause the membership fees that less riders are attending..(i'm not bitchin about the fee) just making an observation...and i plan on sending in my membership paperwork this friday cause i get paid bi-weekly and it's a bitch.. but is it too late?

i'll be out there.. hopefully i can finish a few races so i can turn Am.. thats if i dont get hurt..

so shawn... when you gonna get a thumper??? or a red machine i know you secretly wish you rode a red beast... dont lie to yourself...haha

We did NESC last year because I new Chris was going to be in the top 3 in the C class just for the contingency. This year we're doing MMS because unless you think you can be in the top 3 it's not worth going out of state. The rides in MAINE are just as fast or faster.

Keep two wheels down.
