| if you didnt see it... well you missed the worst.. WORST mud race ive ever seen. i cant beleive they still ran the race.... true dirtbikers right there  the best part was the last lap. where chad sucked in some water going thru two HUGE water ponds... then sparks came outtta his muffler and she started smoking... well he didnt go more then 5 feet and she blew. k-dub was 1 min and 6 sec behind him and passed chad and won his first ever daytona sx. 1 for 8 for k-dub... wooo hoooo love to see at 30 year old win

| Man it looked good seeing chad kickin the p1$$ out of that thumper...like duhhh...suppose she might a blown up after all that smoke and sparks....i dont think ive ever seen a race like that...makes pore ricky c kinda look bad ...he designed a pretty kickin track and it got totally ruined...good for windam...i bet he was nothing but smiles when he went by the stalled out Chad...he dont have to worry bout the bike though...probably one of many im sure

| | I was at the MX des Nations at Unadilla back in '87, which was the worst mud race I had ever seen until Daytona!!! The mud was just as bad at 'dilla, but there were no 3 foot deep puddles - that was unbelievable!! I still think if Reed was on a 2-stroke, it would have survived 12 laps and he would have won, but I was pulling for K-Dub all the way, great win for him. |

I still think if Reed was on a 2-stroke, it would have survived 12 laps and he would have won, but I was pulling for K-Dub all the way, great win for him.yeah RC said in the booth that he was worried about digging into the ground to make the track... cuz if it rains.. well, they fill up. too bad.. it woulda been a sweet track to see the race on. did you catch the practice lap RC was doing??? looked like a nice track layout. i'm not sure about CR winning on a two-stroke Russ... it was his throttle control that did him in... when he splashed thru the first puddle he had to let off when he was in the second puddle, not to slaminto the face of the next jump. thats when the water got "sucked" in. if he would went alittle slower into the first puddle.. he mighta finished the race. with a minute and 6 sec lead... ya think he woulda calmed down alittle.
