| I'm looking for places to ride within 50 miles of Portland. I camp in the Steep Falls area and have seen ATV's on some of the trails. Do they allow bikes on those trails? I just purchased a crf 250x and need some good places to ride.

Thanksplaces are getting hard to find. alot of trial riding in the steep fall, hollis, buxton area. yes they allow bikes.... but you have to be registered. enless you want the chase of wardens and or the po-leese :-)

Thanks i'm not sure if they will let you.. but deer pond variety... in hollis on 117(i think), they have a big parking lot.. and there are always 4-wheelers there.

ThanksHey stchase1 We have an e-mail list of ~15 people and we try to trail ride about once a week...usually Sunday morning. We typically have 3-5 people and have ridden anyplace from Hollis to Stratton. Rides can range from 50-100 miles, 4-8 hours, stopping for food & fuel. If you would like to ride with us, drop me a note at escyr1@gmail.com . We are all adult, registered, no attitude, casual, intermediate riders and don't mind waiting for newbies.
